"Like, what do you mean, 'powered it up?'"

Shi
"Like it took it and powered it up somehow and then put it back. I mean, your flying is faster and your wand is much more powerful!"

Mia
"Well, why would she do that?"

Shi
"I don't know. Maybe it likes you? They do choose few people to trust. Maybe you're one of them!" I said.

Mia
"All right. Well, why me? Because you know, there are very many other people it can trust - like Harry Potter or something?"

Shi
I shrugged. "I don't know. It seemed only to choose you." I said.

Mia
"I... don't know...." I shrugged.

Shi
"Well! Let's continue our practice!" I said, getting a head start and dashing off.

::That Weekend::

Mia
I felt bright and confident. Today was the day of the Quidditch tryouts, and I was sure there was a chance I was going to make the team. Since it was right after breakfast, I went to eat. "Hey Shi!" I said, noticing the ghost. "Do you think I'll get on the quidditch team?"

Shi
"Definitely!" I said with joy. "Everyone who had ever practiced with me never caught me, so I think you'll make it!" I said with a smile.

::At the tryouts::

Mia
I headed down to the pitch. Since the only position available was Chaser, I had to take it since the old chasers were the ones that had gone. I smoothly flew into the air. Suddenly I saw a mysterious black hooded figure - a dementor! Horrible memories flooded into my head - that I didn't want to remember. "Expecto patronum!" I yelled. A patronus appeared, then flickered and died out. Even with a new more powerful wand I couldn't keep a patronus going!

Shi
"Mia!" I cried, jumping out of the audience. Being a ghost, I wasn't affected as much. I practically tackled her. "Snap out of it, Mia!" When she wouldn't do anything, I grabbed her wand from her. "Expec--"

Suddenly a wail interrupted my casting. A giant, silver winged beast came dashing down in a blur, stopping it's figure in mid-air to reveal slanted angry eyes and sharp teeth showing. It opened it's mouth wide like a snake, a ball of energy forming. Suddenly, what looked like the tiny glowing ball shot out of the monster's mouth. The aimed white beam shot at the dementor, and in an instant the dementor retreated from the field and flew off with the wind.

I stared with awe as I held the wand in my hand. The dragon had just got rid of the dementor!

Opal
I glanced around at the peering eyes. I didn't like attention, but at least it kept Mia safe. I panted hard, my mouth hung open with my eyes still slanted. Within a burst of wind I took off elegantly.

Mia
Shivering, I managed to swiftly land. Everyone sitting in the stand ran around. I heard cries of "Are you okay Mia? Mia? "

"Chocolate!" I heard someone say. "She needs chocolate!"

"Hello?" I said feverishly. "Anyone have some chocolate?"

Shi
"Hey hey!" I said, landing next to Mia. "Give her some space! She needs some air!" I said. Someone arrived with some chocolate, tossing it over. I handed it over to Mia.

Mia
I felt the blood warm up and an incredible feeling spreading through my entire body. "Thanks!" I said, rejuvenated.

Shi
"No problem. I think you should rest a bit before getting back to the try-outs." I said.

Mia
"But - but chaser tryouts are now!" I said. "Where's Cedric Diggory?"

((Cedric Diggory = Hufflepuff Team captain.))

Shi
"I don't know, but let some other people try out before you try again." I said softly. "Just recover a bit."

Mia
"OK." I said.

((Time skip again? Just pretend she made the team. I don't feel like typing much else anyway.))
