Undercover Girl

Jesse
"The answer is x=12." I said. "Here, read this." I said, pushing the math book I had got from school today and opened it to the page that taught how to do inverse operations.

Cephei
I grumbled silently to myself. I really hated math. And I couldn't read the english alphabet well.

"I can't read." I signed.

Jesse
"Ahh." I said. "Should I read it to you?"

Cephei
I nodded with an innocent smile. It was a bit embarrassing to not be able to read and admit it to a new friend.

Jesse
"Every day, you 'perform an operation' of going from home to school. Its inverse is going from school to home. The same logic applies to inverse operation. If you start with 5, add 3 to get 8, then the inverse would be to subtract 3 from 8 go back to where you started, that is to 5." I read. "Basically, what it's saying is what you do from one side, you do to the other. So if 2x=6, and you divide 2x and 6 both by 2, then you'd get x=3."

Cephei
"Oh! I get it now!" I signed with a smile. I started to write some things on the sheet of paper as best as I can so it wouldn't be sloppy.

After a while of working, I finished math. "Thank you!" I signed with a bright smile.

Jesse
I smiled. "No problem."

Cephei
I pulled out a few other sheets, which had history questions all over them. I smiled and started writing things down immediately, without even looking at the history book.

"Do you need help on your history homework?" I signed kindly.

Jesse
"I'm fine." I smiled.

Cephei
I smiled back in response, putting the sheet back. "I'm done! Are you?"

Jesse
"Yep. So... do you want to play scrabble?"

Cephei
I shook my head. "Do you have anything to eat?"

Jesse
I smiled. "Sure! Do you want some.... cookies?"

Cephei
I smiled and nodded. "Where's the Kitchen?"

Jesse
"That direction." I said, heading towards it.

((*makes new improv character*))

Cephei
I smiled and followed her.

((*adds Mary*))
Jesse
"Oh, we have to be really quiet." I said. "Or Mary might --"

Mary
"And just what do you think you're doing?" I said.

Jesse
"Getting some cookies..." I said innocently.

Mary
"No. Carrots. Only carrots." I said. "Here. Take some. Hello, are you Jesse's new friend?" I said carelessly, noticing the new girl.

Cephei
I nodded. "Are you Jesse's mother?" I asked. "May we have some cookies?"

Mary
"I'm her caretaker. Her mother's abroad right now." I said. "And I'm sorry but cookies are an unhealthy choice."

Cephei
"Please?" I pleaded.

Mary
"Fine. Only you." I said, handing her a cookie.

Cephei
I smiled and bowed, sitting down at the table.

((I want Shell to be a part of C2, since she's a child prodigy, being able to study and inject herself at the age of three. xD

Shell has also never been let outside the walls of C2. She is the scientist of C2, along with her 'sister' Shade. Despite being younger, she also takes care of Jesse sometimes. She receives all information necessary for mission from Rin and fixes any technological projects with her.

I can't think of a good description for her. I just want her in there since she's a child prodigy. :]))

Mary
"My, polite, aren't you." I said, at the same time, glaring at Jesse. "Jesse, take an example from this girl." In response, she stuck out her tongue.

Cephei
I motioned for Jesse to come and sit down with me.

Jesse
"So where do you live?" I asked Cephei by way of small talk.
