Undercover Girl

Jesse Sharpe is on a mission.

All her life, she's lived in the confined walls of C2, the spy organization she's imprisoned in. But now, here's her big chance. Her first mission in the real world. To protect a girl, who there is a kidnap threat against. But is there something that C2's not telling her?

Her cover identity is a girl who's parents are overseas and work in a circus, and she loves elephants. She goes to a broken-down elementary school with the girl who has a kidnap threat.

Liam, her spy partner, isn't that friendly to her. He's supposed to look like a dad, but he doesn't look or act like a father at all. He doesn't care about her, and he calls her the 'thumb-sucker' because he resents being on a mission with a ten year old. Jesse gets the feeling he knows something she doesn't... but then again everyone does in a place like C2.

Cephei is the little girl who seems helpless all the time. She is upon a kidnapping threat, but she acts as if it was necessary, for she feels it's better she be kidnapped than anyone else. She does her best to make sure nobody gets hurt, always putting herself in danger. She just can't ignore someone else in trouble or in need of help. Jesse thinks she's cute, and she doesn't deserve being kidnapped.

Serendipity is a good friend, and is always there to help Jesse. Too bad she can never know the truth about her. Too bad she can never come over to Jesse's house, AKA C2 headquarters. Since this is the first time Jesse has had a friend out of C2, she's really sad that Serendipity can't visit. Even though she's two years younger, Jesse feels like she can connect with Serendipity in a way she never could with her friends from C2, other 'child prodigies'.

Rin Kagamine, robot made to serve C2. She knows everyone's files, she can find a person with heat sensors, and can do many things normal people cannot. Rin has been there from the start of C2, and thus knows absolutely all secrets there are, and even why Jesse is there. She doesn't defy anyone in C2 unless told and is completely loyal. Rin is also undercover at the school and keeps close watch on Cephei. There seems to be so many things Rin is told not to tell Jesse, and so many secrets revolving around the company it's scary.

Mary is Jesse's caretaker at C2. She only eats health food, such as carrots and celery, and never allows Jesse to eat anything else. Jesse longs to eat a chocolate bar once in a while, and sometimes she gets a chance, but not too often because of Mary.

Another child prodigy at C2, Shell has also never been let outside the walls of C2. She is the scientist of C2, along with her 'sister' Shade. Despite being younger, she also takes care of Jesse sometimes. She receives all information necessary for mission from Rin and fixes any technological projects with her.

Jesse
I stared out of the car window at the buildings and trees passing by. The world looked incredible, and I was excited to get started.

Liam
"There ya go kid." I said, stopping the car in the parking lot of an old-looking building. "Freese Elementary."

Jesse
"Oh, wow, that's cool!" I said, stepping out of the car, ignoring the fact that he was supposed to be my dad and he was calling me 'kid.' The playground was small, and some kids were playing. I thought of the picture of the girl that was going to be kidnapped that the director of C2 had shown me. I didn't see her yet. It was still pretty early though, so I waited on the swings.

((It shall be Cephei. Since she's all secretive too you know. :]

I ran up to the swings and sat on the empty one. A huge smile grew on my face as I kicked my legs back and forth on the swing. I felt like I was flying whenever I was on the swings.

Jesse
Oh, that's her! The girl! I thought. "Uh, hello..." I said awkwardly, having never introduced myself to anybody before.

Cephei
I slowed the swing down to a stop. I stared for a while, them smiled and waved.

Jesse
"I'm Jesse, what's your name?" I said to the little girl.

Cephei
I spelled out my name in sign language. "C-E-P-H-E-I"

Jesse
"C-E-P-H-E-I" I spelled out. "Cephei? Oh, did you lose your voice or something?" But the reports didn't say she had lost her voice, or was deaf.

Cephei
I shrugged and nodded. I started to kick my legs again as the swing rocked back and forth.

Jesse
Suddenly I noticed two suspicious guys get out of a van out of the corner of my eye. Don't trust them, my instincts told me. "Uh, I have to go to the bathroom." I said, running there. I hid in a stall, and put my voice zooming-in thing in my ear.

"There she is."
"That's the girl."
"Where's the other one?"
"Looks like she went off somewhere."
"Okay."
"Keep an eye on Sharpe."

I took the voice zooming-in thing out of my ear in shock. Keep an eye on Sharpe. But how would they know me? Cephei was the one that had a kidnapping threat! Wasn't she?

I headed out of the stall, carefully, and a little freaked out. "So, uh, Cephei. Do you like animals? Do you like elephants?"

Cephei
A bright smile fell on my face and I nodded. Then I looked behind Jesse. Fear struck my heart and I jumped off of the swing and ran toward the parking lot. I always hid there when people came. They never find me.

Jesse
Does she know them? I thought.

Cephei
I held my breath as the came closer. I was hiding under a car, hoping they wouldn't find me.

Jesse
I watched cautiously as they got into the van.... and left. "Phew. Close call." I said softly.

Cephei
I still stayed under the truck. I felt their presence nearby. I didn't want to risk it.

Jesse
"Darnit." I said as the bell rung. "I wonder who that second guy was... he looked familiar."

The class was insane, and filled with tension, as I walked in everyone pointed. "Who's that new girl? No one new ever comes to this school, what's she doing here? Who is she? She's so plain-looking, isn't she?"

"Hello, this is Jesse Meriweather." said the teacher. "She's a new student from another country."

"Uh, my parents are abroad working at a circus. I love elephants."

"Ooh, cool!" said some people, and I felt relieved.

I sat down to eat snack, with a pound cake in my hand.

Serendipity
"Hi!" I said. "I'm Sen. You are...?"

Jesse
"Jesse." I said. "Jesse Sh-Meriweather."

Serendipity
"Nice to meet you, Jesse!" I said. "Did you hear there's a kidnapping threat around this neighborhood! It's so cool, since this place is so boring, nothing ever happens here."

Jesse
I laughed. "Really... it doesn't seem quite so boring." Definitely not boring.

Serendipity
"So what are you eating?"

Jesse
"A pound cake." I showed her.

Serendipity
"Ooh, yum - pound cake. Can I try some?"

Jesse
"You wouldn't want it. It's a sponge. It has no sugar."

Serendipity
"How can you have a pound cake without sugar?" I said, taking the piece she gave me. I chewed slowly. "You're right, definitely a sponge."

((That was a long post for me.))

Cephei
I ran up to the girl named Jesse with a smile. I waved hi and motioned to ask if I could sit next to her.

((I want Rin to be part of C2. Because apparently I like making the robot part of Organizations. xD

And I like making the little paragraph things. ;D

"Hi Cephei!" I said. "So, what was I saying... " I paused. "Do you like animals!"

Serendipity
"Yo, Ceph!" I said. "You know Cephei? She can't say anything, for some reason."

Jesse
"Never? She's never been able to speak?" That explains a lot.

Serendipity
"Not that I know of."

Cephei
I nodded in response and said in sign language, "I like flying things. My favorite are birds and ancient dragons!"

((Put it in quotes so you know what parts she signed. ;]))

Jesse
"Ancient dragons?" I laughed.

Serendipity
"You know sign language?" I asked Jesse. "I usually need a teacher or someone to translate for me."

Jesse
"I know sign language because my dad taught me." I lied easily.

Serendipity
"I see."

Cephei
"What's wrong with dragons?" I signed with a clueless face on.

Serendipity
"What did she say?"

Jesse
"What's wrong with dragons. I'll translate. Oh, and there's nothing wrong with dragons. In fact, that's cool."

Cephei
I beamed. Then I pulled out my snack. They were star-shaped cookies that I made myself.

Jesse
"Yum, cookies? Can I have one? I have a sponge." I said, showing her the pound cake.

Cephei
I wondered why she had a sponge, then I gave her a cookie with a smile.

Rin
"Oh, hey Cephei!" I said with a smile, coming up. "Can I sit here?"

((Lol Rin randomly appears.
She's friends with Cephei. xP))

Jesse
Do they really think I can't complete my first mission all by myself? "Thanks!" I accepted the cookie gratefully. "This is supposed to be a pound cake, but it has NO sugar."
