I hissed fiercely, jumping up and down and trying to grab the necklace. I needed it! I would save the world, just like in every other story!

Sabrina
"Got it. She wants the necklace."

Serena
"The necklace?" I asked, holding it high above the skunk's reach. "That's important!"

Sabrina
"Pass it." I grinned. I caught the necklace as Serena threw it to me, preventing the skunk from intercepting.

Serena
Why does the skunk what it so much anyway? I wondered.

Rei
I growled and ran to the other twin, trying to get the necklace.

Sabrina
"Hey, Iris, get over here!" I yelled.

Iris
"What?"

Sabrina
"Take this, and run!"

Iris
"What... no! Don't depend on me! I can't catch -- phew. I caught it. Oh no, what am I supposed to do?" I groaned, trying to keep the necklace away from here.

Sabrina
"Amy! You there?" I yelled.

Amy
"What?" I asked.

Iris
"Help us... please?" I begged, trying to keep the necklace out of the skunk's reach.

Amy
"Ok!" I said, grabbing the necklace. We need some problem here, do we now? I lowered the necklace closer to the skunk on purpose, saying, "What now?"

Rei
I grinned and fiercely jumped for the necklace. Like a magnet, my necklace snapped to the other and the ring became one. I grinned. But... what will happen now?

I slowly opened my eyes. I saw the anklet of Seraphim unite. "No!" I screeched.

Slowly the sky turned dark. I started to rain but the rain was tinted... red?

I realized why it was red. I did not like it. I needed to tell Kimiko.

"Kimiko!" I shouted.

Rei
"It's Rei." I snarled. "What is it? What have you done to the sky?"

"It is not me! It is you!" She flinched. "Because the Anklet of Valkyrie, my anklet, and the Anklet of Seraphim, yours, are not united, the Valkyrie and Seraphim in heaven have turned against each other! Because they are not together! It's because of this that the civil war of the angels has started!"

Rei
"Then give the anklet to me!"

"The angels entrusted me to return these to them!"

Rei
"It is my duty now! Give it!"

Amy
"They... are arguing." I said. I glanced at Iris. She was my puppet. Why not? Let's make her understand their conflict... make her finally realize she's only a tool.

Iris
"What's... going... on....?" I asked, confusedly. "The sky is changing... colors? And... they're arguing? Huh? The cat and the skunk are talking to each other? What?"

Amy
"Talking? I only here meowing." I said.

Iris
"Then why do I hear talking? Am I imagining things?"

Amy
"What are the voices saying?"

Iris
"They're... arguing. About something. Something about heaven... and earth... huh?" I listened to their argument intensely.

"Give it! I do not wish to fight!"

Rei
"I have the Anklet of Seraphim, which is obviously much more powerful than Valkyrie! I deserve to right!"

"To steal the glory of a job you did not do!?"

Amy
"What are they saying?" I asked, confused.

Iris
"Something about Seraphim, and Valkyrie... and.... I don't know, something about a job or something?"

"Wait, you can understand us, Iris?"

"Yeah! Who are you?"

"Huh? But Kimi's a... person?"

Aww, spilled your little secret? Now, that isn't any fun. I don't want that getting out, rather having everyone miss Kimi and not know of Mimi. I guess it's bye-bye for you, Iris.

Rei
"No time for chit-chat, Kimi!" I growled, jumping up and letting another spray, this time the cat dodged. I clawed at the person in front of me, right in the heart.

Now, it was obvious she didn't have a heart. She... was hollow. And now broken.

"Iris!" I cried.

Iris
"Kimi!" I cried as I.... died?

I looked back at Rei with teary eyes. "A... hero would not dare kill."

Rei
"I..." I looked down regretfully. "You... are the hero of this story. Not me." I said, taking off my necklace and tossing it to Mimi.

Mimi
I caught it. A bright light enveloped me. "Goodbye, Kimiko! And... everyone."

And the anklets disappeared.

I stood strong yet I was still dizzy. The rain lifted. The skunk ran off. And I was a cat. I couldn't turn back human or anything. I ran up to Serena and jumped in her arms, hugging her tightly.

"I hope you take care of me... I hope the heavens take care of Iris... and I hope this was a happy ending."

Amy
So it was not so tragic as I expected, huh? Well, this had been the last tale I have spun... I've been long dead and this happy ending has put me to rest. I guess the one I can really thank for this is... that puppet. Iris...

I vanished. I was no longer needed.

"That was fun." I said, writing the dedication page.
"This story is dedicated to Amy, Serena, Sabrina, Kimiko and above all, Mimi who was there to put a fantastic end to this tale."
