Without A Name

Flower grinned, and stopped, and waited for the rest of the group to catch up, and pushed a strand of black hair out of her eyes so that she could see them. "Check out that flower over there!" she pointed at a small purple flower growing in the crack of a sidewalk. "It only grows in that crack in the sidewalk and I've managed to grow it in my backyard, I've never seen it anywhere else!"

"I've seen that before! It's too bad so many people step on it." Belief said sadly.

"Woah, it's so pretty! How come I haven't noticed it before?" Need asked nobody in particular. "Is it fine if I pick it and take it home?"

"Pick one from my backyard, we should save the original." said Flower. "There are several more that seem to be growing right now."

"Okay! I'll do that later!" Need said, scribbling a not on a notepad to remind herself to go to Flower's later to get that flower.

We all wondered deeper into the forest. "Oh hey, this flower looks really black. I almost didn't see it! What is it?"

Flower examined it. "Oh, I have one of those, they're just blue!" she exclaimed. "It's somewhat rare, I call it the 'Firework Flower' because of it's somewhat firework-like patterns."

"Wow! Sometimes it seems like you know more than Wisdom!" Need mused. They continued through the forest with Need asking constant questions about the flowers they encountered, and having to stop many times for Need to take flowers.

"Say, Need, what did Rumor say this mysterious flower look like?" Belief questioned.

"Huh? She said it was medium sized, blue, purple, white and black and spots of brown. I think Rumor also said that the flower didn't look that pretty because it was colors with so much black and brown and barely any blue and purple, but she was sure it would look better when it bloomed!"

"Hm, I don't think it exists," said Flower. "Otherwise I would've seen it."

"Rumor said it was a new flower!" Need said.

Flower thought hard. "Oh!" she said suddenly, making everyone jump. "There's one that's sort of like what she described I think! Right over there!" She pointed at a spot under a tree, and approached it. "It looks like a hybrid between the Anastasia and the Eclipse!"

"Noo, that's not it! It is very pretty though," Need said, taking a picture of it. "She said that the petals were very curly, and they sorta were twisted up around each other."

Flower sighed. "Hmm, well, Rumor has been known to lie, I don't know of any other that looks like that. Unless it's somewhere in the very deep, dangerous parts of the forsest..." Flower said uneasily.

"I'm up for a challenge!" Belief said daringly. "I believe we can do this! Why not?"

"I've tried going there. It's very dangerous. We probably can do it if we prepare ourselves." replied Flower.

"I agree." Wisdom spoke up. "It would not be wise to go into the deeper parts of the forest without the needed tools to survive and extended research."

"Well, we have to trust your word. Plus, if we want to survive out there, then we'll need stuff to back us up. Should we go get those items?" Need said.

Flower sighed. "Count me out." she said, and walked away. Wisdom followed her, glancing backwards at the two that were left, Belief and Need.

"Oh, come on! Please!!" Need begged. "I really want to see if it's real or not!"

Wisdom sighed. "We will stay if we don't go too far."
"We're only going up to a certain point and then we're leaving. I don't want to know what's in there." said Flower.

Need smiled. "Thanks! Let's go get those supplies!"

"Fine." said Flower.

((Meanwhile, A Name...))

A name sat on the bench by himself. He clutched his head. "Nobody cares about me, really. Why am I still here? It's such a Distopia, this place. I need to get away. It's not like anyone will miss me." he said to himself, but then he looked at the sky. "But everything won't be fine if I'm gone. We all play our part, don't we? What part do I play? I'm just A Name. People throw away their names and always find new ones. So what's the point of still being here if nobody likes a name?"

Belief waited out in the forest while everyone else got their supplies. She heard a young boy talking to himself. Seeing as their was nothing to do, she snuck over to listen to him.

What is he talking about? she wondered to herself. She looked at the boy. His shaggy brown hair covered his chocolaty brown eyes. A plain blue plaid shirt adorned his torso with black jeans were equipped to his bottom half. His arms were covered with striped half gloves that look more like arm warmers, stretching beyond his elbow. They held his chin up as he stared blankly into the sky.

Who is this guy? I don't remember seeing him before. Belief asked herself. If only she knew that is what hurt A Name so much: never being noticed.

"Hey, Belief!" Flower said, coming back after getting some more supplies. "How are ya?"

((Is that Flower? You put I.))

"Huh?" Belief glanced over to the approaching black haired girl. "Oh, hi! I was just waiting for all of you." Belief smiled, walking over to her friend. "Hey... do you happen to know who that is?" she whispered, pointing to the shaggy-haired boy.

"Oh, I'm..." Flower looked over at A Name uncertainly. "...not really sure. I think it's A Name, at least I think that's what his name is..."

"Oh... I haven't heard of him before!" Belief said. "Is he new?" she asked childishly.

A Name kept looking at the sky. He heard everything they said. Why was he so unnoticed? A name is said everyday; everyone should know him. So why didn't people know that he even existed?

"I'm sorry... we could ask Rumor or something! I don't know this stuff." replied Flower. "Oh my gooooosh!" I exclaimed. "It's a Victorian Viscaria! I love those types of flowers!"
