Locked in the Library??

[enter character here] For example.. Linda went to the library to check out books. She was so interested in this book called ''The key on getting a boyfriend'' by Paulina Cruz. Before you check out a book you normally would skim through the pages right? Linda didnt skim at all. She was reading the book instead. The librarian checked if anyone was left in the library and didnt see anyone. Linda was in the bathroom reading that book. The librarian locked the library and after Linda came out the bathroom she was looking for the librarian so she could check out that book.She wasnt there! Linda tried to get out the library but noticed that it was locked! ''What am i going to do?'' she thought to herself. '' OH WELL! I'll Just look for more books about boys!''. The next day the library was open and Linda fell asleep on the couch they have in librarys. That day she met a guy following all the tips from that book and later on they ended up together.. THE END!

So anyways. Make a story of what you would do if you were locked in the library by YOURSELF. No way of getting out. NO WAY!

Haha, thats not how improving goes! We create a plot and play it out with a situation. I''ll start I guess.

I walked into the library to check out some books. It was quite lively, yet still quiet. I saw a girl in a uniform and ran up to her.

"Hello miss!" I said. "Are you looking for books for school? If you are, can you help me find some biology books?"

Eliza
I walked nervously into the library. I had never been here before, and I suspected this place would be the world of the geeks. Sure enough, when I came in, I saw an amazingly geeky looking girl wearing a PLAID outfit. Can you believe it! PLAID! I looked down at the sheet of paper which showed what I had to study. Electricity. "Electricity. Who cares about ELECTRICITY!" I sat on a small chair, typed on the computer "Electricity" and read the small list that came up as a cheerleader-looking person sat next to me in (surprise) a cheerleader uniform. "Why should a princess read about ELECTRICITY!" I thought as I clicked on a promising-looking book. I wrote down the author, name, and genre, and then picked up the paper. The book was in the section where one girl was speaking to another girl in a uniform.

(GEEZ! THAT WAS LONG!)

Joyce
I cheerfully ran inside the library. I ran to the small group of computers waiting to be used and eagerly jumped into a chair. The librarian gave me a harsh look. I was next to a girl which looked exactly like a princess! I said "Hi!" but Princess was distracted and just wrote something down, and then picked it up and went to another section. "Hi!" I said, slightly louder so she could hear. The librarian made huge "SHUSH!" noises, and I smiled brilliantly at her.

Alex
My attention redirected to the little hyper girl. I couldn't help but notice how she jumped up and down in the chair, and how the girl in the pink dress seemed annoyed. I then turned back to the girl in the uniform. "Um, hello? Miss?" I asked again.

Luna
Hum... Interesting. I thought looking around. The humans seemed so intelligent, not that I am myself. What is this... Library?

(She pronounced it Lih-bra-ree. x))

Joyce
I jumped up in my chair and ran up to the Princess. "Hi! I'm Joyce!" The Princess looked startled, then all superiorish and turned her back on me and went to get some other book. I shrugged and ran back to the computer, chanting cheerleader chants as I did so and attracting stern looks from the librarians.

Eliza
I tossed back my beautiful curls, as the hyperactive seven-year old ran up to me. "Hi! I'm Joyce!" she said! I was slightly frightened, and eventually I just decided to ignore her and get a book, even though I couldn't completely block out the cheerleader chants.

Luna
I walked up to the girl in pink. "Um... hello? Can I use this... um... computer?" The girl next to her was slightly annoying. She was cute, but a bit loud.

"Shh." I said gently to the young girl.

Joyce
"Oh. Whoops. Sorry." I felt a bit guilty, but jumped up anyways, happily. "Here ya go." I whispered.

(Temp playing Linda)

Linda
I looked up at the boy. "Huh? What did you say?" I asked. The boy was kind of cute.

Alex
I chuckled. "Do you know where I can find biology books?"

Linda
"No..." I said. I felt sooo embarrassed. He's probably just going to walk away now!

Alex
I smiled. "Thats fine. Thanks." I said as I looked around, finding a whole shelf of books about cells. I sat down at one of the tables in the back and started reading.

Luna
I smiled at the girl. She was so cute! I redirected my attention to the girl in pink. "Miss, can I use the computer?"

Joyce
"Sorry, I didn't hear you. I can get off too." I said, still whispering. I got off the chair, and then ran up excitedly to the children section of the library.

Eliza
"Well, that Joyce is irritating! I thought as I searched through the books. I finally found it. "A Guide To Electricity" by Adalbert Waffling. I finally found it in a shelf. I walked up to a table and sat down. I got out some pencil and paper and began to take some notes. This was boring work!

Luna
"Thank you." I said. I sat down, searching books about the moon. I wanted to see what humans thought of my home! I found a book and sat at the back.

Electricity was actually quite interesting. I lost track of time reading about it!

Joyce
I found a little chair and table where I could sit, and started reading.

Click. The lights went dark and the door locked shut, leaving no light to read.

Alex
Click. Click. The lights had went down, thus I couldn't see my book. I looked up. The door was shut. That couldn't be good. I got up and walked to the door, only to find I couldn't open it. I sighed. Worst situation, locked in the library. What to do now? I had school tomorrow, I couldn't make it if I walked! I clicked the lights on. How could the librarian not see me?

Luna
Click, click. I looked up. Already night-time? That couldn't be good. Father will get mad if I don't make it back by midnight! I put the book back, then walking to the door. There was a girl trying to open it but gave up. It looked locked. She switched the light on and walked to the back, ignoring me.
I don't know what to do! It was my first time in a Library! I am sooo in trouble...

Joyce
I got up. Everything had just gotten dark! I couldn't read anything! I ran up to princess, who was now looking all confused. "Princess!" I whispered. "Do you know what's wrong?"

Eliza
The hyperactive girl named Joyce ran up to me. She whispered so low that I had to lean down to hear her "Do you know what's wrong?"
"I think... we're locked in!" I said.

((You should post in there that the light clicked back on. Go talk to Luna or something. She's panicking.))

Eliza
I walked up to a girl who looked like she was panicking. "Do you know what's going on?" I asked.

Luna
"No, but i'm going to get in trouble by my father! Do you know a way out?" I asked frantically.

Eliza
"No!" I shook my head sadly.

Luna
"I am so in trouble! Is there any emergency exits? What time is it?" I asked.

Eliza
"It's"... I checked my watch "9:23 PM."

Luna
"Don't Libraries like this have emergency exits?" I said frantically. I took deep breaths to calm myself. It wasn't like me to be scared.

Eliza
"They better. I need to finish the rest of my homework!" I said, looking behind desks and tables and chairs.

Luna
Uugh. This is not good. Its only 9, and it's quite a few hours till the Library re-opens! How in the world did this happen?

Alex
"Hey, are you scared?" I asked the little girl.

Joyce
"Nope. All of my friends are scaredy-cats and its a stereotype that cheerleaders are all preppy, even if we are full of excitement and hyperactiveness and stuff. So I'm not scared of the dark or anything, and we'll get out eventually, so it's not like we'll starve to death or anything. "

Alex
"Ah." I said. "Wanna help me think of a way out?"

Joyce
"Alrighty! What about a window?" I suggested. "Maybe one opens."
