In case you can't tell, I went northeast to the three, northeast to the 5, and northwest for 5 steps and that seems to cut it. But I probably miscounted or something. It can't have only three steps! :O

Yep. It doesn't have three steps and you only counted four. The very last step has to be on a blue dot, not a step before it.
