You jam the machine with the bubble gums stickiness, thus you get a series of pops from the machine trying to rid itself of the substance.

I take a fork, clean the gum, and then force it down the machine.

The machine sends back a small piece of gum you missed.

I put in an unopened pack of bubble gum.
