Happy birthday to me
As I shout with glee
"Don't we all agree
I deserve a shopping spree?"

It was the day of my birthday
I couldn't wait to say
"Does everyone remember this day?"
But everyone responded "Nay."

My birthday's in December
Not in September
I hope they remember
It's not in November.

My birthday, even I had forgotten
For it had been so long since i last celebrated it
But then somebody I knew sent
Me a card and a gift
I hadn't known what they meant
Until I read that special little card that they sent

On my birthday I awake
And go eat some cake
First thing in the morning
I wish to end global warming

I wished upon a star
Hoping my friends would give me a card
"Happy Birthday" It'll say
I just hope they remember that day.

On my birthday it would seem
I should be treated like a queen
I am the princess after all
But no, my birthday's in the fall!
