The Haunted House

A man gives some people 10,000,000 if they can stay in a haunted mansion for an ENTIRE night. The 13 bedroom and 15 bathroom mansion is known to be haunted by no less than 231 ghosts, all different types, good or bad, and nearly all died different types of deaths.

Your characters can bring anything to defend themselves from these ghosts, can bring books to read, and possibly anything that will help them through the night. The people staying will be able to all stay on the same night, just so long as they stay there overnight.

So yup... let's start!

Shannon
I gulped and looked up at the tall mansion through the eerie black gates, wondering if anyone else had had the guts to do this.

((I saw a movie like this. xD You start, I'm making a ghost character.))

((Started already. Oh well, I'll go on in. ))
Shannon
I cautiously walked inside, biting my lip all the while. "This is scary." I thought. "I must have been INSANE to say I'll do this. INSANE!

Suddenly the door shut closed behind Shannon. A small, echoing giggle was heard.

Shannon
"EEK!!!!" I screamed, and ran through the first door I saw to the Kitchen. It was cobweb covered and antique. Normally a painting of a bowl of fruit would never have scared me, but considering the circumstances...

((Where should blue light be?))

((The 13 bathroom. xD))

Alex
I walked into the door as it creaked open. It was a bit creepy, I'd have to admit. I saw someone else in another room and walked into it. "Um... Hello?"

Shannon
I saw another girl walk in. "Oh no! Another ghost!" I ducked behind the kitchen table, and my head hit a frying pan.

Alex
"It's alright, i'm not a ghost. I wanted to participate in the challenge."

Shannon
I cautiously got out from under the table. "When I-I went i-in the house, there was um... well. The door slammed shut by itself, and I heard a giggle coming from nowhere." I gave an involuntary shudder.

Shi
"Meow!" I called out loudly in my cub form. I stared at the girl named Shannon with huge eyes.

Shannon
"Where's that coming from!" I looked around wildly.

Shi
"Meow!" I said again, trying to get her attention.

Alex
I looked down. There was an adorable toyger by my feet! I picked it up. "I think this is what cause it." I said.

Shannon
I stared at the ((toyger?))tiger, terrified. "I-It's a GHOST!!" I yelped.

((Toyger is a housecat version of tiger.))

Alex
"It's not a ghost." I said. "See, I'm carrying it." I said.

Shi
Just to freak the two out, I turned into my invisible form and lifted my weight off of the girl who carried me. This was such a thriller. I reappeared on the floor, standing as i was when I entered.
"Meow!"

Shannon
"SEE!" I screamed, and ran up through another door to a living room with cobwebs. I shivered. It was spookier here. I felt there was an unknown presence somewhere. For one, there were no windows in this room, yet there was a soft breeze blowing, though I couldn't locate the source. For another, I could hear soft sounds coming from the bathroom to the right.

Shi
That was quite amusing. "Meow!" I said, running into the bathroom where this breeze came from, only to see a blue light. I knew it. Another ghost.

Alex
"Hey, wait!" I said. I ran into the eerie bathroom as well to see the creepy blue light. Chills ran up my spine and i hurried out.

"Don't go in there." I warned Shannon.

Blue Light
I followed the girl that had rushed in, then rushed out.
Tonight will be the night,
That you will be the light,
I am the great blue light,
And I have the power of the sight. I communicated telepathically to her.

Alex
Chills ran up my spine as i screamed aloud when I heard the poem. I turned around to see just that blue aura.

Shi
I turned invisible and talked to the light.
"You doing this for fun?" I asked. It sounded like whispers of a spell to humans though.

Blue Light
A time will arise
When you have to disguise
And hide from the open skies
Because of the foretold lies I sent to the second girl.

Shannon
I heard the poem, clear as if someone was saying it, in my head. I turned to the other girl, horriffied.
"Did you hear the poem?" I asked.

Alex
"Which one did you hear? It said something about me being the blue light!" I said horrified.

Shi
"Um... hello? Can you speak to me?" I asked the blue light. "Whats your name?"

Luna
"Hello." I grinned. I walked in to see those two familiar girls horrified. I looked over to see a blue light in the moonlight.
"Are you the blue light thats haunts our very souls
That communicates with one and one only as I was told?"

Blue Light
I spoke to the other ghost first.
I am known to all as the blue light
The name when I was alive I don't remember tonight

I then communicated with the girl that had just walked in.
Have you read about me in stories of forgotten lore?
You're saying this like you have heard of me before.

Luna
"Yes, I have heard of you before
But not in any type of lore
In fact from my father, king of the moon
Who told me we were meeting soon."

Shannon
"Uh..." I stared at another familiar face that had just walked in, and was... talking? to the blue light.

Blue Light
I think I know your father, King Of The Moon,
I knew I would meet his daughter soon,
Well, you are here, as far as I can see,
So tell him I said hi for me.

Luna
"I will when I return home, but right now I'm unable to
For now we are locked inside with nothing to do.
These kids are scared so let the rhyming cease
You can talk regularly if you please."
I turned to Alex and Shannon. "It's alright. She means no harm i think."

Alex
With a sigh I was fine. Oh great, I've caught on to the rhyme! "What about the other ghost?"

Luna
"What other ghost?" I asked confused. I hope that one didn't mean to harm us too.

Shi
"Ah, I see." I said with a smile, along with a greet of "My name is Shi."
