HIDDEN GENDER

Amy
"Well, I know Rin said she had a twin and a brother and sister. That may be her twin."

Iris
"Even if they're twins, it's highly unlikely. They'd have to be fraternal to be opposite genders."

Amy
"Well, I guess that's true." I said. "Oh well. Does it matter?"

Iris
"Not really, but whatever."

Rin
I walked back in. "Excuse me, teacher, but can he join our class for today?"

Nikaidou
"Eh? Sure... He can sit next to you."

Rin
I smiled and walked to my seat with Len. The lesson began.

((What now?))

Amy
"Glad we don't have to go to the Royal Garden today. Hey, Iris, let's go meet Rin's brother!"

Xochilt

"ok LET'S GO MEET MY NEW BROTHER" I said

Amy
"...wait, what?"

Xochilt

"Rin is my nee-chan so that makes Len my nii-san" I said smileing

Amy
"...not really."

Xochilt

"YES IT IS" I said

Amy
"Well, he isn't technically your brother unless he's part of the orphanage, right? I mean... Rin isn't your sister either."

Xochilt

"yeah but she lets me call her that" I said

Amy
"...no she doesn't." I said quietly. "Hey, I think it's this way."

We saw a big crowd of people cheering. "Woah, what?" I pushed through the crowd. There, under a tree, I saw Rin and Len singing.

Rin
I ignored all other sounds other than Len. I was glad to be with him again. I sang that first song we ever sang together: R-side while Len sang L-side.

Amy
"Oh... uh... wow." I decided to watch.

Iris
"Yaaay!" I cheered along with the crowd.

Amy
I rolled my eyes. When they stopped, I shouted out "Hey Rin!"

Rin
I opened my eyes at Amy's voice. Then I flinched. There... were so many people watching.

"Isn't that Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len, the famous actors? Hey, can I have you're autograph?"

I rolled my eyes again. "Hey, wanna go talk in the Royal Garden with me and... Iris?" I said, not including Xochilt. "Nobody will follow us there."

Rin
I smiled at Amy's offer. "Ok." I said. I took Len's hand and followed Amy through the crowd.

Amy
We made it to the Royal Garden. "Hey, Iris, you coming in?"

Len
"Woah... this place it nice."

Amy
"What's your name? I'm one of Rin's friends!"

Len
"Kagamine Len, Rin's brother!"

Amy
"Cool! I really thought you were dead from Rin's stories."

Len
"Haha... really..."

"Nice." I came in.

Amy
"Hm..." I texted Rin a message. 'Is Len a robot too?' I wrote. I knew Iris didn't know and Rin didn't want people knowing that she was a robot. I was the only one.

Rin
I received the text in my head and nodded. Then I looked at Iris. "Hello."

Iris
"Hi, Rin."

Rin
"Why aren't the rest of the guardians here?"

Xochilt

"yo nee-chan hi nii-san" I said

Iris
"Dunno..."

Rin
I glared at Xochilt. "Don't call me nee-chan."

Len
"Nii-san?" I said cluelessly.

Amy
"So, how come you didn't find Rin earlier?" I asked.

Len
"...I didn't know she was alive..."

Xochilt

"Well she's alive and she lives with my mommy Carly and all the other kids incuding me" I said cutely smileing
