There's a girl named Mary who's forced to do a bunch of work for her stepmother because her parents died, and this celebrity dancer dude comes to her school to be a normal person or something. There's a school dance, and everyone's wearing masks so no one recognizes each other. Mary dances with the celebrity dancer dude not knowing it's him, and she has to get back home by midnight because she's not allowed to go to the dance. But she loses track of time, and the clock starts chiming midnight, and she drives in her friend's car, (called the great pumpkin, haha) and in the middle it breaks down. She runs all the way back, and yeeah.

Meanwhile, the celebrity dancer dude wants to know who this girl is. The only identification he has is the Zune she dropped (iPods are better, I swear Microsoft paid them to use a Zune.) He tries to hunt down every girl in the school who can dance, and no one knows the top four songs, and no one can dance as well as Mary. Finally her parents

....and yeah, that's it's correlation to Cinderella.
