"Akuno destroyed another egg." I said flatly.

Iris
"Wow, okay..."

Amu
"I really thought she learned her lesson. Didn't Seramic talk to her?"

Iris
"That's what I thought too!"

Amu
"Maybe he forgot to tell her to stop. Go ask him?"

Iris
"Hey, Seramic, by any chance did you tell Akuno to stop destroying the x-eggs?"

Seramic
"Huh? Uh... no..." I said. "Sorry, guess I forgot." I laughed.

Iris
"Well she destroyed 'nother one!"

Seramic
"Oh..." I looked down. "I'll make sure to ask her to stop."

Iris
"Okay, cool."

Seramic
I grinned.



"Hey, Akuno, why'd you destroy another egg?" She remained silent. "Can you stop?" She shook her head. "Why not?" She looked at me.

Akuno
"I need to find the Embryo." I said. "I have my reasons."

Seramic
I sorta got upset. "Destroying X-Eggs isn't going to help find the Embryo." I knelled down to her. "Don't do it, okay? Just leave it to us."

Akuno
"I don't like people telling me what to do." I pouted. "Besides, who would want an X-Egg to survive?"

Seramic
"What do you mean? It's still a dream."

Akuno
"How can an X-Egg be a dream?"

Seramic
"And X-egg is a dream gone bad."

Akuno
"An X-egg is a nightmare. No, a lost nightmare. A dream gone bad is a nightmare. Nobody wants a nightmare. So it goes out and gets lost. Nobody wants a nightmare. So that's why I destroy it; nobody needs it."

Seramic
"We could still turn it good. It doesn't always stay a nightmare."

Akuno
"Like when? Do you know the story of the fairy and the village boy? The fairy, in the end, died and turned into a tree. The boy erased his memories. If we brought back his memories, he'd be forever grieving for the fairy. If we brought back the fairy, she's be sad that he'd forgotten her. If we brought back both, history would repeat itself and she'd die. Over, and over again. You can't change a nightmare into a dream.

Seramic
...no way. She's... somewhat...right... I thought. "Well, we can. For the next X-egg, don't destroy it and we'll show you." She looked at me. "I've gotta go. Seeya tomorrow." She waved goodbye to me. I exited.

If you think about it, would history really repeat itself? It doesn't seem like it would unless the fairy and the village boy weren't all that smart, because the fairy would know what happened in the past and be more cautious, and the boy would already know that Faith liked him. Basically, because of their knowledge of the history, they would be more aware, and therefore they could prevent it from happening again.

And you can change a nightmare into a dream. One way to do that, is it's called 'lucid dreaming.' Lucid dreaming is becoming aware that you're dreaming, and you can't feel any pain, and no physical harm will come to you. Lucid dreaming helps people who have regular nightmares. When I was little I tried to do lucid dreaming, because in your dream you can create your own universe and it's completely yours, and you're not bound to the laws of physics or anything. I never achieved success, but this reminds me, I should do it again. It's like conscious dreaming. It's hard though if you've never done it before, but in lucid dreams you can do stuff like flying. If you want you can cast yourself in the world of your favorite TV show/book. Apparently it comes easier to kids than adults, probably because kids have more imagination. But anywaaay...

I guess your characters always act like they know everything, of course, so they've gotta be right. ALL OUR CHARACTERS ARE SO SIMILAR. All mine seem to be the same, and all yours seem to be the same. Yours are all omniscient and you never have anyone that's stupid.

Maybe you should be Wisdom in NaNo. :O

(Even though if you can change a dream into a nightmare, why shouldn't you be able to change a nightmare into a dream? I know it's possible.

And I love nightmares since I never have them. So it's not like nobody wants a nightmare.)

Akuno's logic doesn't make sense. That just happens to be a story with a tragic ending. Even if history did repeat itself in that story, would it really happen in every single case? I don't think so. I think my logic makes more sense. You can totally change a nightmare into a dream.

...why am I talking about this anyway? I read too deep into everything. I think I probably spend more time trying to understand the philosophical statements people state anyway, and trying to find out a case in which they wouldn't be true. You probably just randomly thought of that. I seriously spent a whole hour thinking about it and typing it up.

"Hm? No. You know me, I don't chew gum." I said.

"Ugh, suddenly I have this craving for gum."

Seramic
"Then go ask Queri or one of your cousins." I said lazily.

Iris
"Daisy, you got gum?"

Daisy
"...it's the minty kind, you won't like it."

Iris
"Aw... Holly?" She shook her head. "Queri?" Queri rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Anyone?"

Len
"...I've got bubble gum." I said.

Iris
"Gimme? Please?"

Len
I handed her some gum. "Here you go."

Iris
"Thanks! Why am I craving this now? I haven't had bubble gum in years, why now?"

"Perhaps you're looking for a change." I grinned.
