"...hey!! Are you calling me a little kid?"

"No, but you're not trained yet, so you're new to the world of magic." I said as we arrived there. There were a bunch of little kids inside practicing magic. I opened the door for her.

"Shining Fang!" I growled, lifting my huge sword up and levitating it in air, making it spin and destroy the practice dummy. "Ugh... that wasn't right."

"Focus... focus..." I said. Then I opened my eyes, my red eye glowing. "Oh, flickering blaze burn! Fireball!" I chanted, then shot a blazing ball of heat out of my hand. It completely missed the bullseye.

I jumped up and around, letting out invisible yet solid sound waves out through my screeches, destroying the flying saucers coming at me.

Aida
"Woow! This is a big field!" I said, observing the kids and the different types of magic they were using. Weapon enhancement, sound magic, elemental magic, mind magic, and a lot of other!

Tristessa
I nodded. "We can all do that based on what type of magic we have. I'm not sure what magic you have."

Aida
"I dunno. So what do I do? Focus?"

Tristessa
"First we have to determine what power you have!" I thought for a moment. "You can take the test, but when you were little you 'brought someone to life'. You might have control over the dead."

Aida
"Woah! Can you do that? Is controlling the dead bad?"

Aria
"Actually, no necessarily. Control over the dead means you can turn dead bodies into puppets, summon spirits to help you. If you're strong enough, you can command the dead, but most often the spirits will do as they please. Like me." I said.

Aida
"So... what test?"

Tristessa
I took out a small box. "Squeeze this." I handed it to her.

Aida
"Hard?" I asked.

Tristessa
I nodded.

Aida
I squeezed it hard and held it. "For how long?" I asked.

Tristessa
"Let go of it when it starts glowing blue."

Aida
I held it for some time. "Is it defective? It's not turning blue."

Tristessa
I shrugged. "Maybe it's not working."

Aida
"Come on! I know I'm magical!" I said, squeezing it a bit harder. After a while, it radiated blue light. I let go. "Uh... what now?"

Tristessa
I shrugged. "Nothing, it means you have that type of magic. Based on what color it radiates, it tells you what magic you have."

Aida
"So then what magic do I have? You said to hold it until it radiated blue..."

Tristessa
"I was pretty sure you had the magic of the... dead. So I just told you to hold it till it turned blue."

Aida
"Oh!" I said. "So... now what?"

Tristessa
I shrugged. "I don't know... practice."

Aida
"...how?"

Tristessa
"....I don't know. Ask the supervisor."

Aida
"Hey supervisor person!" I said. "Uh... how do I use my powers?"

I squinted at the girl. "How old are you?"

"Uh... twelve."
