The Kingdom of a Thousand Rulers

Once upon a time, there were many gods. Gods that lived on the clouds, gods that made the flowers grow, gods that controlled the water's current.

Our story takes place with gods of Grecian times. The time with Zeus, with Poseidon, with Aphrodite, with Ares, with Hades. Many other gods ruled. Most all of these gods had children, and thus our story begins.

These children will meet up and become good friends. But the problem is, which the children do not foresee, that the ancient Titan Kronos has come back from the depths of Tartarus and is ready to gain his vengeance and rule over the world once again. The children's parents are eaten up by Kronos and now they have to stop him.

I put Iris as both of their children. It is possible... too awkward or just keep Iris as only one god's child?

Anshin
"Oh, look at that baby!"

"She's so adorable!"

"She really is the daughter of Aphrodite."

My face twisted in disgust as they rocked the newborn baby back and forth. Those phrases and compliments were all the opposite of the words I got. I wanted that baby invisible, like myself. I had that power. I could make her invisible and unheard. But no. She's my little sister, and I will take care of her. I'll give her love that Aphrodite will never give.

I looked at mother's face in even for disgust. It was fake, that smile. At least to me. It was warm, it was caring, it wasn't for me. It was for somebody else. It was a mother's love. One that I deserved but never got.

I walked over to the baby. It's eyes were beautiful. I let my finger wonder to her palm, yet I knew that the baby won't know I'm there.

Melody
"Goo..." I said, holding the finger. "Goo goo!" I said happily.

Anshin
I stared at the baby. It stared back with a smile. "...Hello?"

Melody
"Goo goo!" I said happily in response to her.

Anshin
She can see me and hear me... I thought, surprised. I smiled at her. "Thank you."



Luna
"Finally, a break! Thank you, Artemis. I'll be back soon. I promise I won't be hanging out with boys." I said, thus wandering to Aphrodite's household. I rang the bell.

Melody
I ran to the door excitedly, and opened it. "Luna, Luna, Luna! Guess what! I got a new hairclip and it matches with my shirt! It matches, Luna, it matches! Mom says it matches, at least!"

Luna
"Oh wow! Did you pick it out yourself?"

Melody
"My sister did!"

Luna
"You don't have a sister. Amazing, you have an imaginary friend who improves you fashion sense." I sighed.

Melody
"Isn't it amazing! I love this clip! Do you wanna see a dress that she helped me pick out too?"

Luna
"Uuh... sure." I said, stepping inside. "Should I wear slippers to not dirty your carpet?"

Melody
"Oh, you can take them off right there!" I said.

Luna
"No, I meant my feet are dirty. I don't hunt with shoes." I said.
