The Haunted House

Luna
"Let me go!" The sound was muffled. I was afraid nobody could hear me.

Alex
"Let me go!" I heard faintly coming from the wall beside me. I looked there. "Luna!?"

Shannon
I stood, paralyzed. "Luna? LUNA!" I rushed to the wall, and pressed my ear to it.

Luna
"I'm not in the wall you-- mmph!" My last word was muffled. I finally figured that a ghost was holding me hostage and turned me invisible. How in the world do I get them to see me!?

Shi
"I'm a ghost and not even I can see it!" I said. Idea! I grabbed the mirror and shown it around the room. Nothing. Dang, that usually works. I set it down, moonlight shining off the mirror and onto a invisible figure, outlining them.

Alex
"There!" I shouted, pointing.

Shannon
"I wanna go home!" I said, bursting into tears. "I shouldn't have done this at all!"

Shi
"To bad kid, door's locked tight." I said. I grabbed Luna's hand and pulled her from the grasp of the ghost, the ghost then disappearing.

Luna
I breathed heavily. "Alright, never leave us alone again Shi." I said.

Shannon
"SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!"

Alex
"Shut up, Shannon! I think I hear someone coming!"

Shannon
I stuffed my hand in my house to stop myself screaming.

Blue Light
I sense that something's going on
And by doing something, I will have foregone.
I thought.

Footsteps. A girl appeared at the door.

Ai
I stared blankly at the four girls. What was up with the one with wings?

Alex
I stared. "Ah... are you a ghost?"

Shannon
"I don't think so." I said. I didn't think so, but I might have been wrong, so I backed away.

Ai
"What kind of nonsense...?" Nevermind. I just sat down on the bed.

Shi
"I'm guessing she doesn't believe in ghosts, so no." I grinned.

Shannon
"Oh, ghosts are real..." I began, but then downstairs I heard the front door open.

Sabrina
I slowly entered the house, and as I began to climb the stairs, I knew why I couldn't do this without my twin. This place was spooky, even if I didn't believe in ghosts. "Serena, are you coming?" I called over my shoulder. "Coming!" Serena ran ahead.

Serena
I grinned. "This place is spooky!" I said happily.

Ai
"Tch. Yeah right." I said. I said that, but really i did believe in ghosts.

Shannon
"Do you guys hear the voices?" I asked.

Serena
"Hey! Voices up here! Maybe there's someone else!"

Sabrina
"They're in that direction." I pointed, and we followed till we reached a small room, where I hesitated. "You go in first."

Ai
"So...what time is it?" I asked, ignoring the voices.

Shannon
I checked my watch. "10:02." I said. Just then I heard a knock on the door!

Serena
I knocked hesitantly on the door, while Sabrina waited.

Ai
"Ok." I said, not even paying attention.

Alex
"I'll get it." I said. I opened the door to see twins. "Hi there!" I said. "Come in!"

Serena
I saw a small group of girls. "Did you all sign up to get paid by the rich guy, or what?" I asked. "I'm Serena," I added, by way of introducing myself.

Sabrina
I sat down on the bed. "I'm Sabrina." I said. "And we're twins." I added.

Shi
"Pshh. He's a fake person. He doesn't even have a million." I said. "I'd advise you try getting out while the doors can still open."

Sabrina
"I still think it would be fun staying in a haunted house overnight, even without the pay." I said. "I wanna see a ghost. I think the time that you learn the most is when you're proved wrong. I don't believe in ghosts."

Serena
I added to Sabrina's statement. "How do you know? I mean, you signed up for this too, right?"

Shi
"I practically live here." I responded to Serena. "And," I turned to Sabrina, "Let you see the truth." I disappeared hauntingfully.

Ai
I looked out of the corner of my eye, staying silent. It was actually creepy how the girl vanished! Ghosts did exist!

Sabrina
I laughed. "That was cool. But it could've been some kind of magicians trick."

Serena
"Mm..." I said. "That did look pretty convincing."

Shi
"It's real!" I said. What would it take for them to believe it? Maybe if i transform again. I transformed into a fairy. A tiny one. "Do you think this isn't real?"

Sabrina
"Maybe it is..." I said, thinking. "Just maybe."

Serena
"Like I said, it's kind of too realistic to be fake. I don't know, but I just have that feeling. I know it's not fake."

Sabrina
"I know! Me too." I said.

Shi
I sat on top of one of their heads. "If it was fake, would you feel me right now?
