Hidden Gender: Broken Glass

"Sure! ...but I don't know the song.."

Rin
"Here." I said, handing her the song lyrics. "For all of those who want to play the princess in the first part, the song goes like this." I said, and thus I sang it.

"Okay! I'll sing it then!"

Rin
"Or, if you prefer singing the after story, then it goes like this." I said, singing it.

Iris
I sang the first song. "How'd I do?"

Rin
"Good for your first time. You did the laugh good as well, which I expected nobody to do. I may consider you. Go practice the other song." I said, handing it to her. "I am going to go instruct the boys, who will be the servant, what to sing." I said. I walked off to the other side of the room.

"Alright, for those who want to sing as the servant, the song goes like this." I said, and thus started to sing the second story.

((Hey, what's going on? I get confused easily. ))

((In class? There's a class play going on, and Rin is making everyone audition. Whether they like it or not. :]

In the song, there are twins, one the princess and the other the servant. She fell in love with the prince of blue, and the servant fell in love with the girl of green, yet the girl of green and the prince of blue loved each other. Enraged the princess ordered the servant to kill the girl so she can have the prince. Even though he loved the girl, he followed his princess's orders because he loved her as well. Their kingdom was then being rather ruined because they had murdered the green girl, and thus the servant and princess switched places so the princess wouldn't die, and the servant took her place and was beheaded.

Rin
"I will take care of the servant auditions later. I assume the princesses have had practice. Those who want to sing the first song, please come here." I said. "Everyone has to try it out, at the very least."

((I got the story but I didn't know what Rin was doing. ))

Iris
"I tried out, right?"

Arie
"Can I try out?"

Rin
"Flower, you are fine. Poet, please go ahead. First or last song?"

Arie
"Last." I sung it.

Rin
"You don't seem like the perfect person for the role. You sung well, yet you sounded like you hadn't cared for your brother at least one bit." I said. I looked at the short one with brown hair in pigtails. "Yuiki. You're next. What song will you sing?"

((I just realized, what is Yaya doing in their class?))

AND ARIE CARES FOR HER BROTHER, SHE DOES. I was crying when I watched that video. I am most certainly not insensitive! And when I sing it does not sound like I don't care! I mean, I know it has to happen since everything said is true but that's not true about my character! Arie would never sound like that! I'm pretty sure she wouldn't. Seriously, if I sung a song like that I would start crying at the end of it. D: As a matter of fact I used to burst into tears at every possible thing when I was in fifth grade and everyone called me the sensitive girl! They also called me the fast reader, since I used to read in class like all the time. And that was my rant to defend Arie's character from your evilness. You are evil for even suggesting I sound like I don't care! Matter of fact, Arie sounds like she cares muuch more than Iris.

I should make her as a real character.

"Oh... I don't know!"

Arie
"...so... I'm bad? I'm a bad singer? I mean, it's your opinion, I guess, but..." I smiled against the tears forming in my eyes.

Iris
"Aww, Arie! It's okay! Rin's just giving you constructive criticism."

Arie
"But... I care! I don't think I sounded like I didn't care."

Iris
"It's only an opinion Arie. Sometimes even I can't express the way I really feel through my singing because I'm not in the mood for singing. Maybe you're just not in the mood for singing, I guess."

Arie
"Yeah..."

Iris
"It's fine! You sung well and I think you expressed yourself beautifully."

Arie
I grinned. "Thanks Iris."

((I'm angry at you now for calling me that. Arie is a reflection of me in real life, remember? ))

Okay. Well, I wasn't all that sure. In my head I can imagine Arie being a bit nervous about singing because it was so sad and all, so she wouldn't sound as good as she would if she wasn't nervous.

And indeed, good times. ))

Rin
"I do not mean to hurt any body's feelings. You're voice was great, yet you sounded rather nervous. Perhaps some practice will do you better. You may try again if you please." I said. "Yuiki, sing whichever song is easier for you."

Yaya
"I can't decide!" I whined.

Rin
"Then sing the first song."

Yaya
"Okay, fine!" I tried to sing it. "This is haard!"

Rin
"You're way off tune." I said plainly.



I groaned. "Sheesh, none of you can do the laugh right, except for probably Flower and you!" I said, motioning to Yamabuki. "I might as well hire myself..." I said. "Alright, Poet. Are you ready to re-try?"

Arie
"Yeah! I'm ready!" I said a little more confidently. I had practiced a lot and I was nervous, but I didn't think I was too nervous to interfere with my singing. "Should I start?"

Rin
"Go ahead."

Arie
"Okay..." I gulped and started singing. I sang most of it and stopped. "Should I finish, or is it just a waste of my energy?"

((Ya know, Holly and Daisy. They should be here. See the make a character section ;D. Can they come as new students from America on the day after the auditions or something? Like the teacher can announce 'We're getting new students' or something. But would they be in the same class? Oh whatever.))

((OKAY!

I'll add them and introduce them next day in class. ))

Rin
"No. You did excellent." I said. "Now... for the servants." I said, turning to all of the boys. "Who's first?"
