"Sleep. We have had a rather long day."

Iris
"I'm not sleepy..."

Anshin
"Very well, do as you wish. I'm not to command you." I said, and found my own room.

Iris
I sighed and yawned. I really was sleepy. I found my room and slept there.

Anshin
I woke with a start. It was early morning. I walked outside and it was still dark. I walked through the halls and made my way to the kitchen. Somebody else was there, but I assume it was just another kid who was staying.

((:O Who's thaat?))

Iris
I woke up but stayed in bed. It was still early. However, I couldn't fall asleep.

((Hm...

*points down* >:D))

Anshin
A small hiss came to my ears. I immediately turned invisible and turned my head towards the noise. Those beady black eyes... such horror! How did he get up here!?

"Get out!" I practically screamed. The eyes turned towards me. He held out his hand and opened a mouth, but I had already run from the spot. Instead it devoured the counter. "I'm warning you!" The creature closed the mouth and opened one again from the direction of my voice. For once I was really glad that I was invisible. I grabbed the longest and most sharpest knife I could, ready to attack. The knife turned invisible within contact with me. "Get out!" I repeated angrily. He attempted to eat me once more. That's it. I quickly dashed towards him and thrust the knife into his stomach. I heard a gross squish. I quickly backed away, letting the knife hang there as it had become visible as I let go. The figure hissed, baring his white teeth and jumped out of the kitchen window.

I was panting heavily and sunk to the floor, making myself visible again. The room was once again still. I sat there, shocked. I scared it away, at the very least, without being eaten. I think... I saved Zeus.

I looked around the kitchen in the dim light of dawn. Half of the counter was destroyed, the long dining table was annihilated, the cupboards had crashed to the floor, and there were various missing tiles from the floor where the mouths had appeared. The kitchen was a mess. I really hope that Zeus can forgive me.

((There was lots of noise. Does Iris want to get up or something? And see the commotion?))

Iris
I heard a bunch of loud noises downstairs and ran down and saw a giant mess. "Wow, what happened?"

Anshin
I looked at Iris. "That... thing. It was here. It... it almost ate me."

Iris
"The monster? The one that... that... that ate..."

Anshin
"Your father." I said quietly.

Solar
"Iris!" I said, rushing down. "We have to go-- wait, what happened here?"

Iris
"That monster! He came here!"

Solar
I gasped. "Nobody got hurt, right?"

Iris
"I don't think so! You are okay, right Anshin?"

Anshin
"Yeah..."

Solar
"Oh yeah! Iris, we have to go bring the sun up! Dawn told me that since Apollo wasn't here, there's nobody to ride the carriage up!"

Iris
"Let's go then! So you got rid of that evil dude, Anshin? Thanks so much."

Anshin
"...yeah..."

Solar
"Come on! Hour and Minute are waiting!" I said, rushing out.

((Hour and Minute - Horses names. ))

Iris
I followed as fast as I could.

((Andrew should come in. :O))

Andrew
I came downstairs to see a mess. "What happened?"

Anshin
I looked at Zeus's son. "The man came." I said, not getting up from my position on the floor.

Andrew
"What man? The man? Evil guy?"

Anshin
"Yes. I have a suspicion that he was going to eat Zeus before I thrust a knife through his stomach."

Andrew
"Wow! That's a good think you did that then!"

Anshin
"...I'm sorry I ruined your kitchen."
