Floating Away...

Iris
"I'm not eating fish."

Amy
"Then let's hope we make it to that one man-eater island with kelp so you can eat." I mumbled.

Iris
"Hmm? Yeah."

((Because it's convenient. ))

Amy
I squinted in the distance. "Dear god, I was kidding." I said. "Iris! Loook!" I pointed toward an island of green. "It may not be the man-eater island, but heck, it's green! Vegetation!"

Iris
"Yeeah! Greeeen! Yes!"

Amy
"I do hope we meet somebody there! Maybe someone will arrive here as well."

((We decide who arrives and who doesn't. ;D))

Iris
"There better be plants! Fruit! Yeah!"

Amy
We arrived.

I quickly jumped off of the boat.

Sand. Sand! I haven't seen sand in ages! And trees everywhere! "Iris! Look! Fruit!!" I said, pointing at little specks of color in the trees.

Iris
"Fruit! Sand!" I said. My legs felt shaky, walking on the ground, but we were still on land!

Amy
I fell to the ground. "Ugh... being cramped in the lifeboat... I can't walk all that well."

Iris
"I can walk!" I ran around.

Amy
I did my best to stand up and walk around for a while. Then we walked up the hill.

At least there weren't actually meerkats, like in Life of Pi. "Let's get some fruit, Iris!"

Iris
"Yeah!" I ran up to a tree. "Hey, it has fruit!" I picked it and gave it to Amy. "You eat it first."

Amy
I peeled the skin. "This looks like a lemon." I said, taking a bite out of it. "It... is a lemon. A really sour one!" I said. I shrugged and took another bite of it.

((I like lemons. ))

Iris
"Maybe we can make lemonade! Aw, but we don't have sugar."

Amy
"Eh, I like sour stuff." I stated. "Look, there's orange fruit over there! Should I taste those too?"

Iris
"Yeah!"

Amy
I picked one and peeled it. Then I took off a piece and ate it. "Wooow! This is so sweet. Definitely an orange!" I said, handing it to Iris.

Iris
I ate it. "Yum!"

Amy
"Man, this island is awesome!" I grinned.

Zabu
I grunted.

Iris
I sighed and looked at my iPhone. I had its charger, but there was no way to charge it. It had been out of battery for awhile. "I miss my laptop..." I said.

Joyce
"Wha?"

Amy
"At least we're living, right?"

Zabu
I grunted rather satisfied. I motioned toward a small dot of green on the horizon.

Joyce
"Laaand! Thank you Zazy Zaby Zabu! You're the most awesomest tigey ever!"

Iris
I sighed.

Zabu
I grunted. I was hungry. I wanted the boat to hurry.

Joyce
"Hurry up you stupid boat! Get there faster!"
