Eu Kari me away
Get it? Its a Eukaryotic cell. Hahah. I spelt "Kary" wrong, but oh well. Anyways, blurb thingy!
After learning about cells in class, an ordinary girl finds herself wondering about in a Eukaryotic Cell! How will she get home?
Ok, so this is about me learning about the functions of a cell. I go into a cell by breaking the membrane and cause a big commotion. Then the ribosomes (announces DNA crap so the cell will do stuff) tell me to go meet the nucleuolus and I go inside the nucleus and meet her. Then I get back home. Go on, read the real version instead of this crappy summary! xD
P.S. This was done for class and it's a children's book.

Eu Kari me away
Today in class, we had been learning about cells. I couldn’t get it out of my head, even at night. I went to sleep with cells on my mind.
That night, my eyes snapped open and I saw myself about to crash into a round and circular thing. I broke the tough wall and entered a jelly-like substance, except I could still see, breath, and move. There were many weird looking people, some oval and round, some thin. There was also a big, round, dome-shaped building near the center. Alright, that’s it, I’ve gone nuts.
“The membrane is broken!” boomed a mysterious voice. It seemed like the jelly I was standing - or floating - in, but it was some small black speakers. Everyone immediately did their job; cleaning, producing energy or fixing the membrane.
Wait! Membrane!? I must be… in a cell!
I was floating in cytoplasm, the mitochondria were producing energy, the vacuoles were pumping out all of the bad things that came into the cell… it all made sense! I sure didn’t know everything about a cell, but I sure did recognize it. There were the ribosomes, the ones that announced the membrane had broken. The Endoplasmic Reticulum and Mitochondria were working maniacally to produce energy. It seemed so weird. I wanted to meet them all. So I went over to the Endoplasmic Reticulum and attempted to talk to it, but it was too busy to notice. So were the mitochondria.
I sighed, nothing to do. I perked up as I heard a voice.
“Stranger,” announced the ribosomes. It was talking to me! “Please meet the Nucleolus right now.” It said.
I could only assume the building was the Nucleus. I went through a small opening and saw the lumpy ball called the Nucleolus.
“What are you doing here? Why did you break the membrane?” it asked. I was surprised it sounded female.
“Uh, all by accident ma’am.” I stuttered out.
What looked like a smile appeared on her lumpy face. “It’s okay. Go home”
I took one last look before everything went black for a second. I shot out of my bed with my sheets off and light shining through the window. It was just a dream. Only a dream. I think so.
I just had an inner-body experience.

Thank you. :]
I dunno if I can get to scan in the actual thing with pictures. It looks much better IRL. :]

Re: Eu Kari me away
You have pictures? My pictures (in my notes) of the cell membrane & wall are bad!
Re: Eu Kari me away
xD
The cell membrane barely appears. And the book is at school and all, so yeaah.
