Akuno Tsukiyomi : The Curse of Moon Hell

"Maybe the wings are from a shugo... but... maybe... I'll ask her tomorrow." I said.

Iris
"I knoow. Please do."

Seramic
"Yeah..." Maybe... she's evil...

Iris
"...she seemed like a nice person, just a bit quiet." I said quietly.

Akuno
I sat at my desk, studying Japanese. I knew that the Guardians could have questions... I guess I can't keep quiet about destroying the egg. But I still must keep my work for Easter a secret.

Seramic
I wondered over to Akuno. "Hey... Shiyomi?" She looked up. "Was that you yesterday?"

Akuno
"Was that me? Where?" I said quietly.

Seramic
"You know. Yesterday with the x-egg." She nodded. "Then... why? Why'd you destroy it?"

Akuno
"It had to be done."

Seramic
"...no. It didn't. Why did you do it?"

Akuno
I glanced at him. He was somebody who looked like he kept his promise, he looked like somebody to keep a secret. "...help me study afterschool." I said, and then ignored his questions and continued to study.

Seramic
I sighed and walked back to Iris. "She seems to not be telling."

Iris
I sighed. "...Hmm, well, I really don't want to confront her or anything, she's new here! That would be really mean."

Seramic
"...yeah, you're right. Let's just leave her alone."

Iris
"Yeah." I nodded. "Just do that for now.

Seramic
"...I have a feeling she'll tell me something important afterschool... just... a feeling."

Iris
"Women's intuition? Oh wait -- you're a boy. Riight." I rolled my eyes.

Seramic
"Hey, don't make fun of me like that." I laughed. "We'll see."

Iris
"Mmhmm, we will."

Seramic
I stayed with Akuno and helped her study. After quite a while of studying, and when the sun was behind the horizon, she looked at me.

Akuno
"..do you still wonder why?"

Seramic
"Huh?" I asked.

Akuno
"Why I broke the egg." I said. He nodded. "Will you keep it a secret?"

Seramic
"Yeah."

Akuno
"Even from the Guardians?"

Seramic
"I promise." I held out my pinky. "Pinky swear?"

Akuno
I looked at him, and then hooked my pinky on his. "If you break this problem, you'll eat a thousand needles."

Seramic
"I know. Now... what is it?"

Akuno
"...I work at Easter."

Seramic
"...Easter?" I asked, shocked. "But... you don't really seem like somebody to work there."

Akuno
"I'm forced." I said. "They promised they'd let me back to daddy when I find the Embryo."

Seramic
"Oh..." Poor girl... Easter's trickery forced her to work for them...

Akuno
"Do you know Tsukiyomi Ikuto?"

Seramic
"Huh?"

Akuno
"Do you know Tsukiyomi Ikuto?" I repeated. I really hoped he did, being enemies with the guardians. I really wanted to know if I can meet him ever again.

Seramic
"Tsukiyomi... Ikuto?" I said slowly. "Yeah... why?"

Akuno
"I saw him around Easter. I want to know more about him. He looks lonely."

Seramic
...lonely, huh? "Then why don't you talk to him?"

Akuno
"I would, but I'm not allowed to. Nobody is."

Seramic
"Oh. Well... I know him. He's a nice friend."

Akuno
"...friend? I thought Easter and the guardians were enemies."

Seramic
"We never did anything to hate each other, so why should we be enemies? It doesn't matter what side you're on, you can still be friends with somebody everyone else calls an enemy."

Akuno
"...ah." I said quietly.

Seramic
"So are you sure you don't want to tell the guardians you work for Easter? I'm sure they'll understand."

Akuno
"I doubt they will."

Seramic
"Why not?"

Akuno
"I've heard that Ikuto is rivals with the King chair, and they'll hate me because I work with him and for Easter. I'd rather keep my reason for destroying the X-egg a secret from them."

Seramic
"So... then... why did you tell me?"

Akuno
"...because... you look like... daddy."

Seramic
I... look like her dad? I thought. She must really miss him.

Akuno
I got up. "I'm going... home..." I said. "Let's continue our lesson tomorrow." I said, as if we hadn't at all talked about my work for Easter. I left the classroom.

'Don't tell anyone that you work for Easter!' Director Hoshina had said, 'It will be harder to obtain the Embryo. If anyone knows, you'll be in trouble!'

What a whole load of crap.

I arrived at school. Well... I couldn't tell Iris the reason Akuno destroyed the X-egg. And... I forgot to ask if she had a character...

Iris
"Hey! Did you talk to what's-her-name Akuno about... if she had a chara?"

Seramic
"Ah... no. I forgot." I grinned. "Sorry."

Iris
"Ah, okay, that's fine, no biggie. Honestly, I don't really care."

Seramic
"...we can ask her now."

Iris
"You do that, I need to re-paint my nails." I said, examining them. "I'll be right back."

Seramic
I rolled my eyes. Really... what was the point of nail-painting? I walked over to Akuno. "Hey... I was wondering, the other day you had wings. Do you have a shugo chara?"

Akuno
I looked up at him. I nodded. "Come out for him." I said.

Kira
I poked my bed out of the backpack. "Hii!" I said. "Hey, Kuu, can I go play with the flowers?"

Akuno
I nodded and the little butterfly flew out the window and explored the flower gardens. "Does that answer your question?"

Seramic
"Uh... yeah." I said, going back to my desk.

Iris
I came back and started doodling on a sheet of paper.

Seramic
"She has a shugo." I told Iris, and also took out a paper and started to draw. "Oh, hey, whatchya doing there, Iris?"

Iris
"Oh... uh... spirals."

Seramic
I grinned. "This is what Akuno's character looks like." I said, quickly drawing it. "I'd say she's cute."
